HIGH QUALITY Shield Boss
designed for use in SCA Heavy Combat. The boss is comprised of 14 gauge plate steel (2mm), is 9" in outside diameter,
approx. 7" diameter interior opening and has a 1" lip. The boss is approximately 3 1/4" in depth. The boss
comes predrilled with six 1/4" holes so that you may easily attach this great boss to your favorite shield.

Our bucklers are exquisitely handcrafted from a single piece of 14 gauge steel. These heavy duty bucklers are design for the
rigors of the SCA Heavy Combat List but are good enough looking to hang from your tent or castle too.
These bucklers measure 15" in diameter and have a hand hammered boss which measures approx. 7" in diameter and
is approx. 2" deep. The smaller domes are approx. 1 1/2" in diameter and approx. 1/2" deep. The back of the
buckler is strapped with a period 4-ring leather suspension system so that you will be able to use this magnificent shield
on the field of honour. The edge is rimmed with heavy duty hose and wrapped with nylon filled cord.
Please allow one week for construction.

from galvanized steel tubing. The shield is finished in a hammered copper tone. This awesome shield is fully functional and
ready for the field!!
