Our heraldic shields are exquisitely handcrafted from a single piece of 14 gauge steel.  Then your device is put upon the face of the buckler in seperate pieces of 14 gauge steel.  These heavy duty bucklers are design for the rigors of the SCA Heavy Combat List but are good enough looking to hang from your tent or castle too.  These bucklers measure 15" in diameter and have a hand hammered boss which measures approx. 7" in diameter and is approx. 2" deep.  The smaller domes are approx. 1 1/2" in diameter and approx. 1/2" deep.  The back of the buckler is strapped with a period 4-ring leather suspension system so that you will be able to use this magnificent shield on the field of honour.  A static handle may be exchanged for the leather suspension handle.  The edge is rimmed with heavy duty hose and wrapped with nylon filled cord.  Up to 3 base paint colors are also included in this price.
